I very much enjoy his as a first time looking at his work a concept I was looking at was his work in silhouettes. I have an initial idea for my story to give it a bit more of a dark feeling too it.
Another artist of a similar technique is Edward Gorey again looking at his work with a sketchy use of line that brings the characters to life. Its something I would really like to apply to my work. I wanted to create a simple yet dark story something that can be enjoyed by various audiences. I have taken reference from images of the woods near my home.
This is an example of my referencing of this and working towards something like the two artists.
