Final Piece and Practice

Taking reference from both my photograph and Olivier Kugler's work.
I first attempted to try and draw out the image and edit it on Paint Tool Sai or Photoshop.
The pencil drawing proved ineffective and I never went through with scanning the image in. Instead I sprung the idea of scanning the image into Paint Tool Sai seeing as Photoshop was unavailable to me at the time.

I began with outlining the basic shape of the buildings on the Photograph not applying all the detail of the images.

I then applied a light blue underneath the line, no longer showing the photograph.

and lastly the colour I stood to Kugler's method of colouring the key elements to the scenary and a highlighted few shops. The Underbank bridge and the AGE UK building underneath it I thought highlighting the AGE UK building would be a nice feel to the image.
