Today it was myself and one of my colleagues turn to start the discussion forum. This time it was for the article "Where is the content? Where is the comment?" by Lawrence Zeegen.
Zeegan talks of communication in illustration and how personal projects are not illustration. Claiming that illustration must have some way of sending a message towards viewers.

In my opinion of this article I disagree with the argument he brings across. Illustration can be what ever an artist wants it to be. If the artist wishes to bring out a message then let them do so. If an illustrator wants to work for their own personal achieve then they should have the right to.
